Drone usage is allowed with some limits after device registration at portal .

In Japan, drones must be registered beforehand for flights near airports or special zones, above 150 meters, at night, over populated regions, within 30 meters of people or private property, over concert zones, beyond visual line of sight, or when dropping items. Drone should have remoteId function or external tracker. It also should have visible registered number(sticker or written).
