There is a Kobe airport (UKB) — it’s about 20 minutes to the city center. Most routes come from Osaka — during the day, you can take a ferry from the airport (KIX), or trains from the city center take about 30 minutes.
Where to stay
The most convenient area is around Sannomiya Station. If you prefer a quieter neighborhood, you can choose one of the high-rise hotels in the port area, which often offer a free shuttle to the station.
