Tomakomai is a port city located on the island of Hokkaido, Japan. It is situated in Iburi Subprefecture. The city covers an area of 561.49 km², with a population of 174,216 and a population density of 310.27 people per km². Tomakomai was founded on April 1, 1948.
In the museum , there is a unique module of the Mir space station. It would have been used if something had gone wrong with the first version.
